Congratulations to Sam Forgan on winning the Colne House-sponsored Colne Valley Classic golf tournament!
Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club professional Sam Forgan was presented with his winner’s trophy by Kingsley Healthcare CEO Daya Thayan and his wife Sumi.
Daya and Sumi, Kingsley operations director and a fellow founder of the top 20 national large care homes group, made a special visit to Colne Valley, neighbour to Kingsley’s Colne House Care Home, to see the closing stages of the two-day, 36-hole event.
At seven under par, Sam won the tournament ahead of a field of PGA professionals from across the East of England.
Congratulating the winner and tournament organisers, Daya pledged to sponsor future editions of the event.
Today, enthusiastic amateurs are joining the professionals for a Pro-Am event.
Kingsley is being represented by Head of Corporate Finance Matt Herring and a team of juniors from the Colne Valley Club. Good luck to everyone!
Colne House manager Victoria Franklin said: “It’s been great for our home to get involved. It’s important for us to play an active role in the local community.”
