I began my journey with Kingsley over 10 years ago. I progressed through the company and have recently become the home's manager. Hard work pays off. I am proud to be the manager. Brooke is a beautiful home set in beautiful surroundings. The home has a calm and relaxing atmosphere where staff provide excellent care in a person centred manner. Out of work I enjoy spending time with my family and going for walks.

I have worked in the care sector since 2015 and have progressed from Care Assistant to Deputy Manager. I was attracted to Kingsley Healthcare’s values and their approach to care in offering truly person centred care, with residents and staff being part of one family. Brooke House is such a welcoming home in truly spectacular surroundings and I am very proud of the team that I work with. Building relationships with residents and their families is not just a job, it is a privilege, and I am passionate about our residents living the most fulfilling lives possible.

I have over 13 years of management experience in the hospitality sector, running hotels and restaurants in Norfolk. To work at Brooke House, it’s like going from your own home to a family member's home where you’re greeted with a big smile and a warm hug every day. Outside work I love kayaking, outdoor activities, music events/ festivals and of course spending time with my family and friends.

Since graduating from university with a Marketing Masters degree, I have gained a range of experience in Admin roles across a variety of different sectors. I really enjoy working with the friendly team at Brooke House and getting to know all of our lovely residents. I also enjoy the variety in my role and learning something new every day. Outside of work I love going to the theatre, crafting and spending time with family.

Activities & Lifestyle Co-ordinator

I have worked for Brooke House as lifestyle coordinator for six months, I have many years experience, and am very passionate about keeping the residents happy and as mobile as possible, doing a variety of activities. I love to put a smile on each and everyone's face, and I have got to say I have the best job in the world, and Brooke is a beautiful place to work. Outside work I love baking, going out for meals, keep fit and my family time.

Sharon Hillman

Activities & Lifestyle Co-ordinator

I started working in care seven years ago, initially as a support worker and later as part of the activity team. I joined Brooke House six months ago. I'm passionate about bringing fun, joy and companionship to the residents. My colleagues at Brooke House are always happy and helpful and there is always a family atmosphere here. Outside work I like to read and spend time with my family and cats.

Henryk Kubala

Head Chef

I have worked at Brooke House since December 2022. As a chef, I have over 30 years of catering and fine dining experience. I enjoy my time here - it’s very rewarding. Myself and my team work to get the best balance of wholesome well-nourished food for our residents and we are constantly trying different dishes to keep our residents interested. I have a passion for photography and I regularly go to far-flung places in the world to experience something different, achieve the perfect picture, and to try different menus, so I can bring something unique to our residents.

Stuart Gollands

Operations Manager

I joined the Operations Team at Kingsley in 2024 having worked in health and social care since early March 2012, having been in Registered Manager and Senior Manager roles for other Providers. With Kingsley being a family run business there is always someone to offer support to the staff teams in the homes. Outside of work I like to lead a very active life running trail road races, spending time with my family and walking our 2 Labradors.

Joanna Holt

Service Quality Manager

I worked in community health services before spending nearly 10 years at the Care Quality Commission as an inspector and then as an inspection manager. The part of my job I enjoy the most is being out in the care homes, seeing first-hand the pride and dedication of our home managers and the family atmosphere they engender. Outside of work, I love hiking and enjoying our wonderful British countryside.
