Deputy Manager

Kimberley Shaw is our deputy manager, and she started her career in teaching, switching to the care sector in 2015. She relishes her role working with both residents and staff.

Emma Gibb

Administrator

Emma really enjoys the interaction with residents and visitors and loves the fact that every day is different in a care home. She started work at Kingsley Healthcare more than two years ago and joined the team at Lilac Lodge in October 2022. She has wide experience, having worked as an administrator for over 12 years, some of that time in care homes.

Corin Edwards

Activity Coordinator

Activities are an important part of Lilac Lodge life and Corin, as a former entertainer, revels in his role. He goes above and beyond to ensure activities are person-centred and bring happy smiles to faces.

Eliza Strozynska

Senior Support Worker

Eliza has worked for Kingsley Healthcare for 15 years, starting as a support worker and progressing to Senior Support Worker at Lilac Lodge. She enjoys the welcoming atmosphere and making a difference to residents.

Casey Maher-Smith

Support Worker

Casey joined Lilac Lodge in 2019 as a support worker. She enjoys working in the lovely environment, providing excellent care to the residents, and engaging with them about their interests and happiness.

Stephen Paul

Support Worker & Bank Senior Support Worker

Stephen started working at Lilac Lodge in 2018 with little experience in caregiving. He received training and support to provide quality care and now works as a bank support worker. He enjoys talking to residents and making them happy, and appreciates the support from his team.

Slawomir Miernik

Maintenance Person

Slawomir started work at Kingsley Healthcare in 2005 and became maintenance person for Lilac Lodge and The Laurels three years later. He is proud of the wealth of experience he has accumulated and appreciates the training and support he has been given. He loves the family friendly atmosphere of Lilac Lodge and enjoys the happy relationship with colleagues and residents who make every day different.

Becky Adams

Chef

Becky worked in other care homes for five years before arriving at Lilac Lodge and brings with her the knowledge and passion to provide nutritious and tempting food that meets the dietary requirements of older people. She says she has settled in well to life at Lila Lodge and really enjoys her job.

Sue Wesley

Head Housekeeper

Sue has brought more than 10 years of experience in housekeeping to her role at Lilac Lodge and has a genuine passion for maintaining the highest standards of cleaning. She loves the fact that the home is welcoming and homely and no two days are ever the same. She loves interacting with the residents and it makes her feel happy when she leaves work knowing she has made a real difference to their daily life.
