About the role

Commissioning and Registered Home Manager | Bedford | Salary £52,000 + 10% PRP

We are currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated Care Home Manager to commission, lead and excel in providing outstanding care at our latest boutique luxury care home in Bedford.

Sycamore Heights Nursing Home will bring boutique hotel luxury to a 35 bed care service when we open in Bedford in April 2024.

Registered Manager Role:

To provide inspirational leadership and management, cultivating an outstanding staff team to rapidly establish Sycamore Heights as the number one nursing home in Bedford; to demonstrate a flair for marketing and community engagement, a relentless focus on compliance, working towards an outstanding CQC rating, and a determination to deliver top hotel standards of service.

Reports to:  Operations Manager

 

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Demonstrable track record of care home leadership with proven results in terms of CQC rating, consistently high occupancy, successful recruitment and customer reviews.
  • Preferable experience in successful commissioning of a new home, driving occupancy, recruitment and reputation in the local community.
  • An understanding of business objectives, demonstrating the skill to drive profits.
  • Experience in developing fruitful relationships with health and social services professionals and key community figures.
  • Working in a similar corporate environment to Kingsley, harnessing the support of a central team, would be an added advantage
