A very glamorous May Ashburner celebrated her 100th birthday with a special service led by Reverend Joy Fernando and the choir from Holy Cross Church, in Caston.
The roof at Thorp House nursing home in Griston, near Watton, was raised with a lively rendition of Morning has Broken followed by prayer and reflection.
Staff and residents wished May a very Happy Birthday while her pet budgie Sparky helped chorister Sylvia Wright with the high notes chirping throughout the singing much to everyone’s delight.
