Mini Donks delight residents at Thorp House

Residents were excited to greet beautiful donkeys from Miniature Donkeys for Wellbeing, an East Anglian charity sponsored by Kingsley Healthcare.

A wonderful visit evoked lovely memories for some of our residents who used to keep donkeys in their previous lives.

Residents, families and staff enjoyed an occasion that also celebrated the 96th birthday of Robert “Lud” Lister who enjoyed a special birthday kiss from Saffron the donkey before blowing out the candles on his cake specially made by our chef.
