MP Sir Graham Brady is guest of honour at Timperley Nursing Home's Lights switch-on
Christmas has arrived at Timperley Care Home following the success of our Christmas lights switch-on and festive fair!
Our annual festive celebration was filled with our staff and residents' singing and dancing to their favourite Christmas songs.
Visiting entertainers were singer Ann Lee and the North Cestrien boys' band staring our home manager's son Asher Gottlieb and friends.
Children loved meeting Santa Claus in his grotto and we celebrated with delicious Christmas treats including homemade mince pies, mulled wine and hotpot prepared by our wonderful catering team led by head chef Paul.
We would like to say a big thank-you to our wonderful relatives for coming and helping and our special guests.
The Vicar of St Margaret's Church, the Rev Aled Seago, led a seasonal church service, the Christmas lights switch-on was done by our MP Sir Graham Brady while Trafford Mayor Cllr Chris Boyes also joined us.
Home manager Nishi Gottlieb said: "Everyone had a wonderful time and the event raised money for the Alzheimer's Society which is a cause close to all our hearts."
