New technology is playing a vital role in improving care across the Kingsley Healthcare Group

wellpad article 2

New technology is playing a vital role in improving care across the Kingsley Healthcare Group, says operations director Debbie McGovern. Person Centred Software (PCS), an electronic care plan programme, and InvaLife, a computerised medicine management system, are being rolled out to all 29 of the Suffolk-based company’s care homes. Ms. McGovern said: “This has been a very significant investment which will enhance the lives of our residents.”

PCS provides the home’s staff with instant access to all the information they need to know about a resident – from their family history and medical details to their personal likes and dislikes – through an iPod device.
