Kingsley achieves double success in carehome.co.uk awards

awards won

We are thrilled to announce that Kingsley Healthcare has achieved a double success in the annual awards given by the influential review site carehome.co.uk.

For the sixth year running Kingsley has earned the accolade of being named a National Top 20 Large Care Home Group.

Meanwhile, Brackley Care Home, which opened less than two years ago, has been ranked among the Top 20 care homes in the East Midlands.

The awards are determined by customer review scores on carehome.co.uk, the care sector’s equivalent of tripadvisor.

Kingsley CEO Daya Thayan said: “We are delighted with these awards which are a tribute to the dedication of all our care home staff and the support they receive from our central team. It is gratifying to maintain such high standards six years in a row.”

Brackley Care Home manager Sharon Wassing said: “We are all proud to work in Kingsley’s latest luxury new-build care home. However, for residents and their families, even more important than our fabulous facilities are the passion and professionalism of my team. We are all appreciative of the wonderful reviews we have received on carehome.co.uk.”

Kingsley’s Regional Operations Director Georgina Johnston said: “It’s been another tough year for care home staff with Covid and the challenge of recruitment which is affecting the whole sector. Our Top 20 Large Care Home Group Award shows how wonderfully well staff have coped, maintaining morale and their zest for coming into work and supporting our residents.”

Group Chief Investment Officer Muj Malik said: “Following on from Brackley, Kingsley’s next generation of luxury care homes is in the pipeline. In the design, our number one focus is to improve the level of customer satisfaction even further.”

Construction work is under way on a boutique luxury care home in Bedford while builders will also be moving on to sites in Holt, Norfolk, and Olney, Buckinghamshire, later this year to begin work on two next-generation nursing homes.

Starting soon will be ambitious schemes to extend and comprehensively upgrade our homes near Colchester, Essex and Weymouth, Dorset. Since Brackley, Kingsley has commissioned new services in Liverpool and Norwich and acquired a 66-bedroom luxury care home near Birmingham, opening up further opportunities in the Midlands.

We are also delighted to announce the opening of our next Kingsley Home Care branch to serve Lowestoft, Gorleston and east Suffolk.
