Sharston House delighted to host visit by Bishop

sharston bishop stockportvisit 2

Staff and residents at Sharston House nursing home, in Knutsford, were delighted to welcome the Bishop of Stockport, the Rt Rev Sam Corley.

The Bishop, who was appointed earlier this year, was joined on his visit by the Vicar of St Cross Church, Knutsford, the Rev Paul Deakin.

The Bishop spent time talking to home manager Nishi Gottlieb about the impact the pandemic had on Sharston House before visiting the home’s memorial garden and chatting to residents.

At the end of the visit, staff and residents joined him in prayer.

Nishi said: “I would like to thank the Bishop and vicar for coming to visit us. It meant a lot to our staff and residents.”
