My journey began as a qualified IT Engineer. However, driven by a passion for helping others, I made a conscious decision to transition into the field of health and social care. In 2014, I attained my qualification as a registered nurse. My tenure at Kingsley commenced as a nurse, before advancing into management roles. I am proud to be manager at Buckingham Lodge, Our ethos revolves around providing personalised, person-centered care and unwavering support to our residents. Beyond the confines of my professional responsibilities, I continue to indulge in my passion for technology. Whether it's tinkering with gadgets or staying abreast of technological advancements, my enthusiasm for innovation remains undiminished.

I began my Nursing career after completing my education in 1984. I worked in various areas of nursing until 2003 when I decided to follow my passion for falconry and was self employed as a falconer around the country, working in many areas including major sites in London and the local area. Following a successful career in pest control management with two of the largest companies in the UK, I decided to return to nursing completing my return to practice in 2019. I commenced working for Kingsley Healthcare as Unit Manager at Buckingham Lodge in 2023 and have now progressed to Deputy Manager to support our Home Manager with the development plans for the home. Outside of work my passions are wood carving and playing my mandolin, along with time spent with my wife, our beloved, crazy spaniel Ruby and our children and grandchildren.

Hello! I’ve worked at Buckingham Lodge since 2018, I started on a bank contract as a Housekeeper whilst I was in Highschool as I moved into College I started to learn more within the home such as, Kitchen Assistant, Laundry, Support Worker and Senior Support Worker. I am now enjoying my role as Home Administrator. Everybody is so supportive and I know who to turn to if I need some help. There is also lots of training opportunities that I utilise to expand my knowledge in various areas. In my spare time I enjoy attending various cars shows and spending time with my family. I also like to organise Car Shows that we hold here at Buckingham Lodge.

I've been with the company for five years and it has been a great experience. i enjoy dealing with family members and making the admission of their loved one an easy transition for them. In my spare time i enjoy reading science fiction and fantasy novels and spending time with my grandson.

I have worked in the care sector for 27 years, beginning my journey as a health care assistant. I have worked in a variety of settings, in both the private and public sector. During my career, I have been a Registered Manager for over 15 years and worked in Senior Management roles. Delivering exemplary care and customer service is truly my passion and nothing drives me more than ensuring that residents receive the highest quality of care. Kingsley has strong family values aligned to my own, that mean we treat our residents and colleagues like members of our own family. Growing up in Norfolk I am very familiar with the local area and outside of work I enjoying exploring the country side with my dog.
