I joined Kingsley in October 2025. I have worked in healthcare for 14 years starting as a healthcare assistant. I have a passion for high quality care and a positive culture, making the care home the best home for our residents. I have had the benefit of working in a wide range of environments including care homes, learning disabilities, live in care and most recently mental health. I completed my MSc in Mental Health Nursing with my aspirations to become a care home manager. I have horses and dogs that fill all my spare time. I enjoy going on a ski holiday each year.
Akhona Ndhlovu

I’m Akhona, the Deputy Clinical Manager at Kingsley since February 2026. My nursing journey has been fulfilling, and I’m excited to be part of this dynamic team. I qualified as an abroad nurse in Zimbabwe in 2015 and have been in England for six years, gaining intensive experience in the care sector. This includes six years in various roles, with four years as a Clinical Lead in North Yorkshire. I hold a postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing Sciences and am nearing the completion of my Master’s in Mental Health at Southbank University, London, while pursuing a CMI Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice Level 7 (RQF) with Learn Direct. My clinical skills include tracheostomy, catheterisation, RIG placements, and both surgical and non-surgical wound management. Outside of nursing, I have a passion for writing books, reading, and part-time farming, with a love for horticulture. I’m dedicated to providing comprehensive care and excited to collaborate with my colleagues to make a positive impact on our patients’ lives at Kingsley.
Kitty Chisholm
Hospitality Manager
I have worked in hospitality for over 10 years, starting as a waitress at a hotel when I was 16. After college, I spent a season working in a private beach club in New York before completing a Hospitality Management course with Concord, which gave me experience across Devon, Dorset, Southampton, and Surrey. After graduating, I returned to Devon, where I spent over five years working my way up to Assistant Manager. I then worked as a private chalet host in the Alps before returning home to Norfolk, where I spent three years as Assistant Hotel Manager on the North Norfolk coast. Today, I am the Hospitality Manager at Buckingham Lodge with Kingsley Healthcare. I love that every day is different, and the most rewarding part of my role is creating meaningful experiences and bringing smiles to our residents' faces.

Eszter Kosztolanczi
Head Chef
Hello! I’m Eszter and I’m the Head Chef here at Buckingham Lodge. I grew up in a very small village in Hungary, where from a young age I learned everything about food—starting from the garden to the plate. We grew our own vegetables, raised animals, and prepared food to store for the winter. That way of life taught me the value of hard work, fresh ingredients, and cooking with care. I had my first cooking job when I was just 13, and now—20 years later—I still love what I do. During the Covid lockdown, I worked as a private chef for a hotel owner and CEO’s elderly family member. Spending so much time with her inspired me to follow my heart and work in a care home setting. Since joining Buckingham Lodge, I’ve been named Chef of the Year, and I’ve won two cake competitions. When I’m not in the kitchen, I enjoy keeping active with weight training and home workouts—and I always make time to unwind with my partner and our beloved cats.
