Our family atmosphere is apparent throughout Downham Grange and as Kingsley is a family-owned business, we believe this is key to our standard of care.
Future residents and their family members are often nervous about the projected move to a care home; we aim to reduce the stress from the process, and we listen to both the family and the new resident to understand and carry out their wishes. Daily life at Downham Grange
Downham Grange care home provides a tranquil and happy home for our residents and all our staff work hard to promote this loving atmosphere. Our courtyard garden is very popular and is a wonderful place to sit out and catch some rays.
Our activities offer our residents the opportunity to interact with others and add to the enjoyment of all. Recently we were visited by Zoo Lab who brought along some exotic creatures for the residents’ entertainment. Whether it’s playing a game of dominoes with our carers or simply chilling in the lounge, the happiness and wellbeing of our residents is important to us. Family and friends are always welcome to visit.
Our new residents will receive a warm welcome from us.

Mealtimes at Downham Grange
Food is important to our residents, and we work hard to please them with our food selection. Our special menus are designed to a high standard by our award-winning head chef; all our dishes use locally sourced, seasonal ingredients that are packed full of nutrients, and will tempt any appetite, however small.
Mealtimes at Downham Grange are flexible. We provide a Night Bites menu for those who’re late-night snackers. And friends and family are always welcome to join residents for lunch or dinner in our cheerful and beautifully designed dining rooms. We always ask our residents about their favourite dishes and will include these for their pleasure.
