Daily life at Gower Gardens
We tailor our care to each of our residents’ needs; if someone wants to sit quietly with a book or just spend time admiring the visiting wildlife in the garden, then we’re here to ensure they can still enjoy their hobbies and interests.
Should a resident wish to participate in an activity, we ensure we have an imaginative selection on offer. Gardening is always popular, and seed donations from local companies help our residents to create their own oasis of beauty. Visits from therapy dogs always go down well, as do our regular community coffee mornings.
We have visits from local schools, an exercise coordinator and many other local groups. We also take part in local fundraising activities.
Residents can also relish our on-site cinema and enjoy viewing a wide range of films. Or they can spend time in our cafe enjoying sharing a satisfying cuppa with a friend.

Mealtimes at Gower Gardens
Our catering team takes pride in providing meals that promote a first-class dining experience for our residents. Mealtimes are flexible, and we ensure that our residents’ culinary likes and dislikes are considered. Where possible, the food is locally sourced, and our meals are always packed full of nutrients and flavour.
To tempt those with smaller appetites, our excellent catering team present their meals with care and dedication, so everything on the plate looks like a treat just waiting to be sampled.
