I am the Home Manager here at Gower Gardens. I have worked within the care industry for over 30 years and became the Home Manager here in 2021. My role is very busy but very rewarding and I am always dedicated to my residents and staff to ensure my home provides a happy and welcoming environment. In my spare time I like to be with my family and travel.

Megan Hughes

Deputy Manager

I am the Deputy Manager at Gower Gardens. I have a very rich background, with over a decade of experience in the care industry and became the Deputy Manager here at Gower Gardens in 2020. I am very passionate and committed to providing person centered care, creating a sense of being one big family within Gower Gardens. This significantly enhances the well-being and comfort of our residents. In my spare time I like to socialise with family and friends and take my dog on walks.

Holly Payne

Hospitality Host

I am the Hospitality Manager here at Gower Gardens and absolutely love my role here. I like to meet new people and build good relationships with our residents, families and welcome anyone into our home. I manage and address all new enquiries into the home. I started off as a receptionist for Gower Gardens in 2021 and worked my way up to Hospitality Manager in 2023 due to my dedication and attention to detail. In my spare time I like to be with my family and we like to go to Somerset and walk our dog along the beach.

Jacqueline Jones

Home Administrator

I am the home Administrator of Gower Gardens. I have been in the care industry for 13 years and here at Gower Gardens since the home first opened 8 years ago. My role involves admin and finance and I enjoy working as part of a team with the all the staff, residents and their families. In my spare time I have always enjoyed gardening and decorating but since a new dog has joined our family, I seem to be walking a lot more regularly.

Beverly Boyt

Clinical Lead

I am the Clinical Lead at Gower Gardens. I have been a Nurse for 23years, I have worked in all areas of Nursing specialising in A&E and Theatres. I have also worked previously as a Clinical Deputy Manager for 10 years in a Nursing home. in my spare time I enjoy walking my dogs, family holidays and days out with my family.

Anne Marie

Activities & Lifestyle Co-ordinator

I am the Activities Coordinator her at Gower Gardens and have worked in the home for over 7 years in various roles. I have gained valuable insights and knowledge about the needs and preferences of our resident during my time here, and having a background in youth work, this has been very beneficial in my current role as Activities Coordinator. I like my activities to be person centred and ensure the residents are actively involved in the planning process. By doing this, I can create meaningful and engaging activities that cater to their individual interests, which promotes their well-being. In my spare time I enjoy making home made gifts, socialising with friends and family and looking after my grandchildren.

Varinia Rosado De Brown

Head Housekeeper

I am now the Head Housekeeper here at Gower Gardens and started working here over 5 years ago as a Domestic Assistant but became Head Housekeeper in 2022. I have an amazing team and we take pride in the cleanliness of our home always making sure our residents have everything they need to be comfortable here. I really do enjoy my job and our residents are like my family. In my spare time I love to speak with my family over facetime in the Dominican Republic. I also like to travel and spend time with my husband outside of work.

Regional Hospitality Manager

I am from the beautiful country of Sri Lanka and have a very diverse background within the hospitality industry. I am committed to Kingsley Healthcare's vision of offering five-star hotel standards within the care sector. I believe in personalised service to ensure residents feel welcomed and valued. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the UK and experiencing the different seasons. I also love cooking.

Regional Operations Director

I have been a Registered General Nurse since 2001 and joined Kingsley in 2009. As well as my responsibilities as Regional Operations Director I am also Group Clinical Director. What I love about Kingsley is that the needs of our residents are always paramount and we are never limited in our ability to provide the required service. The company also offers staff great opportunities for career progression. Outside of work, I enjoy walking and taking in a movie.

Julia Edwards

Operations Manager

I worked in hotel and restaurant management before switching to the care sector 14 years ago. Before joining Kingsley last year I had gained considerable experience in operations and regional roles. I love the fact that Kingsley is family orientated and everyone is very supportive. We all go above and beyond for our residents. Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and my dog.

Cyril Fomonyuy

Service Quality Manager

I have worked in the care sector for 22 years, starting as a Registered Nurse in my home country of Cameroon. I joined Kingsley in 2016 as a registered home manager and subsequently progressed to Service Quality Manager. I love the culture at Kingsley which invests in and empowers its staff and supports career progression. Outside work, I am an author and write and do research about leadership and management.
