I qualified as a nurse from the University of Manchester in 2017. After finishing university I worked as a staff nurse on a respiratory ward and the Accident and Emergency Department in a busy hospital. I then worked as a Safeguarding Adult Nurse for 5 years. I left the NHS to to join Kingsley Healthcare as a Deputy Home Manager at one of our sister homes, where I supported the Manager but, more importantly, gained invaluable insight, knowledge and experience of running and managing a care home. As a result, I am delighted to have recently been recruited as the Home Manager for Redwalls Nursing Home. I am passionate about person centred care and I am excited to utilise my skills, knowledge and experience to support our residents and family members as well as helping the Redwalls team develop and thrive. In my spare time I like to go on trips with the dog, weekends away and I love watching movies.
