Open day showcases Kingsley’s stunning new boutique care home in Norwich

stclements nursing home opening 22 1

The commissioning of Kingsley Healthcare’s latest luxury boutique care home, in Norwich, has been celebrated at a Champagne reception and open day.

The event marked the completion of a complex construction project to transform St Clements Nursing Home, in St Clements Hill, with stunning new facilities.

Addressing home residents and invited guests who included local health professionals and representatives of contractors Ovamills, home manager Jane Shiner said: “Some people might be surprised that we are celebrating an ‘opening’ when, in fact, St Clements has been a highly regarded nursing home serving the city for many years.

“However, anyone who compares what was here before with this stunning new home would have to agree it is a totally new beginning.

“As part of Kingsley Healthcare’s Vision 2025 to future-proof all our homes, we set out to create a luxury, boutique care facility of which the city could be proud – and I am sure you will all agree that we succeeded.”

She went on to thank the amazing efforts of contractors Ovamills, the hard work of project managers Elliott Associates and the vision of architects Condy Lofthouse.

Residents joined guests to watch Kingsley Operations Director Debbie McGovern and Regional Operations Director Georgina Johnston unveil a commemorative plaque.

During the afternoon, the public was invited to look around and experience the high level of comfort and pleasing décor of the home’s beautiful living areas as well as its luxurious bedroom suites.
