At Spring Lodge Care Home we are a happy community where people enjoy life to the full
At Spring Lodge Care Home we are a happy community where people enjoy life to the full.
Residents enjoy the fresh air, stunning scenery and peace and quiet of the Shotley Peninsula, yet the home is only a 10 minute drive from Ipswich, making it perfect too for visiting families and friends.
Our staff are trained in Kingsley Healthcare’s bespoke dementia care programme, WINGS, which aims to deliver the very best person-centred care.
In the words of actress and Alzheimer’s Society ambassador Carey Morgan, “Those with dementia are still people and they still have stories and they still have character and they're all individuals and they're all unique.”
Her words really sum up daily life at Spring Lodge where residents are supported to carry on their life with verve and optimism, whether they are enjoying a Friday sing-along and dance or taking part in a community litter pick on the bank of the River Orwell.
We invite you to visit Spring Lodge and are confident you will regard us as the perfect, peaceful location for high quality residential and dementia care.
We are sure you will love our home for its historic charm, supreme comfort (with more than a touch of luxury!) and picturesque village setting. And we are equally sure you won’t forget our warm welcome and our award-winning chef Andy’s fabulous food.
But don’t take our word for it! The best people to sing the praises of Spring Lodge are our residents and their families and we are thrilled by their lovely comments on the leading industry review site carehome.co.uk.
Among our latest reviews, all published this year, are the following:
May 2023: “Mam has been here for three years and has settled in very well. The staff are extremely caring, and the manager is very hands-on. All the rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The chef is brilliant too, and there are plenty of activities and friendly staff.”
March 2023: “I am extremely pleased with the care my wife is receiving at Spring Lodge. The staff are all brilliant and show a wonderful level of care and thoughtfulness for her in coping with an illness which is so challenging and difficult. I would put in a special praise for the manager; she is going a great job.”
