Person centred care in an elegant manor house
Oaklands is a grade two listed Georgian property in a rural location. The quiet setting is the perfect place for high quality residential, dementia and respite care.
Our home is on the edge of the Norfolk village of Scole within easy reach of Diss, Eye and Harleston. There is quick access to wider areas of Norfolk and Suffolk via the A143, A1066 and A140.
Oaklands preserves the historic character of what was once Scole Lodge manor house but has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished to provide all the comforts of modern living.
The extensive gardens and delightful patio are enjoyed by residents throughout the year and are the perfect setting for outdoor activities or simply to soak up the sun and fresh air.
We are proud to be at the heart of the community and put on events such as summer fetes that are enjoyed as much by local people as our residents.

Wellbeing and lifestyle
In the past, care homes too often were seen as dreary institutions where people sat around doing very little. The missing ingredient was fun. Nowadays, fortunately, that is not the case and our activities team ensures there is always plenty going on throughout the day.
